At least one dead after early morning multiple-vehicle collision in Berkeley

At least one person has died and all lanes of eastbound Interstate Highway 80 were closed following a multiple-vehicle collision in Berkeley early Sunday morning.

The collision was first reported at 2 a.m. just east of Buchanan Street, the CHP said. All traffic was diverted off at Gilman Street. No further information is immediately available.
