Firefighters are more than halfway toward containing a 183-acre vegetation fire in unincorporated Solano County Wednesday afternoon, Cal Fire officials said.
As of about 5:30 p.m., the Marshview Fire off Marshview Road and Interstate Highway 680 southeast of Fairfield was 60 percent contained. The fire more than doubled in size in about 2.5 hours.
