Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly dropped a gun and shot it while picking it up Sunday at Sunvalley Shopping Center in Concord.
No one was injured by the gunfire, which happened at 4:07 p.m. near the Cinnabon store at the mall, located near Interstate Highway 680 and Willow Pass Road in Concord, police said.
The suspect left the mall with a woman, who is shown in a photo released by police that was taken from mall surveillance video.
