Auto burglary suspects rammed an unmarked police car in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park Saturday night after a plainclothes officer saw them breaking into a car and tried to apprehend them, police said.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. and Hagiwara Tea Garden drives.
When the plainclothes officer tried to detain the suspects, described as men in their late teens or early to mid 20s, they got in their vehicle and drove at the unmarked police car, striking it, according to police. The officer was not injured.
The suspects then fled and remain at large Monday. Detailed descriptions of them were not immediately released by police.
