An overturned produce truck has closed all lanes of northbound U.S. Highway 101 at the transition to eastbound and westbound state Highway 92 in San Mateo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials said the box truck was carrying 80,000 pounds of produce when it overturned but no one was injured and the truck was the only vehicle involved. A tow truck is currently en route to the scene.
A related fire has broken out underneath the over-crossing of Highway 92, according to the CHP, but officials could not confirm if the truck was on fire.
A Sig-alert was issued at 10:51 p.m. and there is no estimated time of opening for the lanes.
