Two boys leave La Honda juvenile facility

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating two juvenile boys who walked away from the Log Cabin Ranch juvenile correctional facility in La Honda in unincorporated San Mateo County late Wednesday night.

Sheriff’s officials said the boys are almost 18 years old and walked away from the camp on Wednesday around 11 p.m. They were last seen wearing dark sweats, sandals with white socks and one of them was wearing a brown jacket.

Anyone who sees either of the two juveniles is asked to call 911.
