Sheriff’s deputies are looking for two walkaways that fled from a juvenile center in the La Honda area of unincorporated San Mateo County Thursday.
A 17-year-old and an 18-year-old fled the Log Cabin Correctional Facility at 500 Log Cabin Ranch Road in La Honda.
The sheriff’s office was notified about the incident Thursday at 9:45 p.m.
Deputies searched the area for the two subjects, but they were not located.
The first subject is described as an 18-year-old Hispanic male, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 130 pounds. The second subject is described as a 17-year-old Hispanic male, 5 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds.
Deputies are asking the public to call (650) 363-4911 or 911 if the subjects are spotted.
