  1. I am a Pirate fan who has always rooted for the A’s since the 70s.

    I wouldn’t be too quick to say that the starters “choked it up”.

    In EACH game, between Valencia (worst 3rd baseman I’ve seen, and we had Pedro Alvarez) and your second baseman (on that DP), your team would’ve been back on the bench with zero runs scored with just an average defensive effort. No errors were assessed, but your infield defense needs some work.
