Two suspects were arrested and two guns were recovered in San Francisco Saturday evening after a pursuit that began near the scene of a shooting in the Bay View district, according to police.
The incident began around 6:30 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the area of Ingalls Street and Revere Avenue to follow up on a ShotSpotter alert. According to police spokeswoman Grace Gatpandan:
“Officers responded to the scene and recovered multiple casings.”
Police stopped the suspect vehicle nearby in the vicinity of Keith Street and Oakdale Avenue. One suspect was detained but another fled the scene on foot.
Officers searched the area and subsequently took the second suspect into custody, according to Gatpandan.
