Woman rescued from Bay near Pier 39


Firefighters rescued a woman from the San Francisco Bay Tuesday night after she fell off Pier 39 and into the water.

The woman was transported to the hospital after she was pulled from the water, but she was not seriously injured, firefighters said.

The woman was reportedly walking on the sea wall when she fell into the water. The incident was reported at 10:42 p.m.
