Cal Fire crews are quickly tackling a vegetation fire reported west of Petaluma Wednesday afternoon.
Cal Fire officials said on social media shortly before 2:25 p.m. that Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit crews were responding to the Middle Fire around the 5800 block of Bodega Avenue, near Two Rock. In an update issued at 3:04 p.m., the blaze was already 40 percent contained and had burned approximately 2 acres.
Officials warned of travel delays in the areas as response and cleanup activities continue.
No further details about the cause of the fire were immediately available.
