A significant gas leak was reported by North County Fire Authority officials around 4:01 p.m. in the 100 block of Wembley Drive in Daly City Wednesday. The leak was substantial enough to order evacuations in the surrounding area.
According to a 4:26 p.m. update shared on the fire department’s Twitter account, PG&E has secured the gas leak and evacuation orders have been lifted.
No further information has been provided regarding the cause of the leak.
