The incident occurred around 3:10 a.m. on Sixth Street near Market Street, according to police.
The male suspect allegedly rode up to the 41-year-old woman and yelled at her before shooting her. The suspect then fled north on Sixth Street, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
A description of the suspect was not immediately available.
