The standoff ended tonight at about 9:20 p.m. when officers arrested the man on suspicion of felony vandalism and resisting arrest, police said.
Officers went to the temple at 1647 E. San Fernando St. at about 3:30 p.m. this afternoon to do a welfare check, police said.
People called police to say a man was on the temple’s roof, according to police.
The man had threatened to jump during the standoff and had been tossing down ceramic roof tiles, police said.
