A robbery suspect fled in a taxi after a bank heist in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, police said.
At about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, the male suspect entered a bank in the 2300 block of Fillmore Street, just north of Clay Street, and approached a bank teller, according to police.
The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money and the teller complied, placing cash on the counter, police said.
The suspect took the cash and exited the bank.
Once on the street, police said the suspect got into a taxi and fled the scene.
The suspect has not yet been arrested and the robbery remains under investigation, according to police.
