One person is dead following a shooting and a multi-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Oakland, police said Monday.
The shooting occurred just before 6:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of International Boulevard. Officers responded after someone reported a traffic collision and they located the apparent shooting victim in one of the vehicles, according to police.
Officers tried to save the victim’s life, but he died at the crash scene. A shooting scene was located some distance away, police said.
