A hit-and-run crash in the Outer Sunset has left one person dead, San Francisco police said Sunday.
The crash occurred Saturday night at 7:34 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Way and 46th Avenue when a Honda SUV and a stolen black Audi SUV collided, leaving a passenger in the Honda with life-threatening injuries, authorities said. The passenger was taken to the hospital where he died of injuries. The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver of the Audi fled the scene before officers arrived. During the investigation, police found that the Audi was reported stolen in The City on Jan. 12.
Supervisor Gordon Mar said in a tweet Sunday afternoon that police will be increasing traffic enforcement in the area.
We’ve requested and funded a traffic calming & safety project for Lincoln, previously planned for as a priority from the D4 Mobility Study. Meanwhile, SFPD will be increasing enforcement for traffic violations in the area. We’ll continue to share updates as we have them.

Authorities are seeking witnesses as well as video footage of the crash.
