The California Highway Patrol reopened all northbound lanes of Interstate 280 just before 1 a.m. Thursday, following a fatal collision that briefly closed the roadway in Daly City late Wednesday night.
The CHP responded to a 10:16 p.m. report of the collision with a light pole involving a single vehicle in the northbound lanes just north of Serramonte Boulevard.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 10:38 p.m. closing all northbound lanes and was able to reopen the slow lane 20 minutes later. The SigAlert was cancelled at 12:58 a.m. Thursday and all lanes were reopened.
