BART reopens Richmond station after death on tracks

BART’S Richmond station reopened after being closed for about three hours due to a death on the tracks Thursday morning.

Foul play isn’t suspected in the death, which closed the station about 6 a.m. The person who died had intentionally entered the track area, a BART spokeswoman said, but no other information was released.

There is still a 10-minute delay on the Richmond line, but the Richmond station has reopened, BART officials said shortly after 9 a.m.
