The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is offering an adoption deal when individuals adopt two kittens.
All kittens aged four months and younger will be available for adoption at a discounted price now through July.
The adoption fee includes spay and neutering, microchipping and registration, age-appropriate vaccinations, routine treatment for fleas and worms and a free pet wellness exam with a local participating veterinarian.
The adoption deal is due to the increase in the number of cats and kittens at the shelter.
The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter has two locations. The first is at 2200 7th Ave. in Santa Cruz, and the other is at 580 Airport Blvd. in Watsonville.
