Crews stop forward progress on Napa vegetation fire

Cal Fire is responding to a vegetation fire in Napa on Monday afternoon.

The Kiwi Fire was reported shortly before 2 p.m. in the 1100 block of First Avenue, about a mile from Silverado Middle School.

Forward progress of the blaze has been stopped, Cal Fire said about 2:25 p.m.

Motorists in the area are urged to use caution and give way to emergency vehicles.
