Employee stable after stabbing incident in customer dispute

An employee at a business in Oakland was stabbed Monday morning following a dispute with two customers, police said Tuesday.

Officers went at 6:20 a.m. to the 2400 block of Fruitvale Avenue after someone reported a stabbing and an assault.

The victim is in stable condition, according to police. No arrests have been made.

Police and Crime Stoppers are offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is urged to call police at (510) 238-3426 or Crime Stoppers at (510) 777-8572.
