An explosion and subsequent fire in Stinson Beach Tuesday has destroyed two building, damaged another two and resulted in minor injuries for two people, according to fire officials.
Crews were able to contain the fire by 11:30 a.m. but cleanup efforts are expected to continue throughout the day. The Marin County Sheriff’s Office is asking people to avoid the area of downtown Stinson Beach.

The cause of the explosion on the 3400 block of Shoreline Highway is under investigation.
