Santa Clara County coronavirus cases rise to 32, officials say ‘not unexpected’

Eight new cases of COVID-19, or coronavirus, were reported Saturday afternoon by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department.

The brings the total number of coronavirus cases in Santa Clara County to 32, the public health department said in a tweet.

The tweet said:

“It’s not unexpected to have more cases.”

No further details were immediately available late Saturday afternoon.
