Crews at scene of C&H Sugar factory fire

Firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire in Crockett Thursday at the C&H Sugar factory off Interstate Highway 80.

The fire reportedly started Thursday morning at the factory on Loring Avenue and has since spread to other floors of the building. The Crockett Carquinez Fire Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the fire.

Efforts to fight the fire have delayed Capitol Corridor trains between Richmond and Martinez, according to Amtrak.
