Man dies in hospital after early morning shooting

Police in San Jose are investigating the city’s fourth homicide of the year after a man was fatally shot early Friday morning.

The man turned up at a hospital about 4:40 a.m. with at least one gunshot wound, according to the San Jose Police Department.

He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Police believe the death is tied to a report of shots fired in the 1600 block Tully Road earlier Friday at 4:28 a.m.

Police said they have no suspects in the shooting.
