A one-alarm fire Sunday afternoon at a homeless encampment near the intersection of Trumbull and Mission streets in the Excelsior neighborhood was contained quickly with no injuries, the San Francisco Fire Department reported.
The fire, beneath an overpass, was reported shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday, It did not threaten any buildings, firefighters said, but it wasn’t certain any residents were displaced.
