A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck near Morgan Hill, Calif. late Wednesday, January 2, 2020.

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting a 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred Wednesday night about 5.8 miles northeast of Morgan Hill in Santa Clara County.
