Rescue dogs rescued again from stolen van in Oakland

A van that had about 25 to 30 rescue dogs inside it was stolen early Monday morning in Fremont but Oakland police later pulled it over and found the dogs still inside.

Oakland police wrote on Twitter shortly before 11:30 a.m. about the case, but did not provide specifics about where the white van was stolen or where officers pulled it over.

Oakland and Fremont police had worked together to share information about the stolen van, and they are asking anyone who purchased a dog from the suspect in Fremont or Oakland to call either police department.
