Injury accident prompts hours-long Freedom Boulevard shut down

Freedom Boulevard in Watsonville is shut down Thursday morning because of an injury collision, police said.

Watsonville police issued an advisory shortly before 7 a.m. about the closure between Lincoln and Stanford streets.

Police said the road could be closed for hours, so people should find alternate routes.
