Four small earthquakes struck within an hour north-northeast of Alum Rock, Calif near San Jose Monday, November 11, 2019. They magnitudes ranged between 1.2 and 2.8.
Four small earthquakes struck near San Jose Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The first struck at 5:16 p.m. and was a preliminary magnitude 2.8 quake. It was located about 2.3 miles north-northeast of Alum Rock.
The second struck at about the same location at 5:21 p.m. and was a preliminary magnitude 2.5 temblor.
Two smaller quakes, magnitudes 1.2 and 1.4, followed within seconds of each other at 5:45 p.m.
