Firefighters have contained a vegetation fire in Spring Lake Park/Trione-Annadel State Park in Santa Rosa and will remain at the scene to keep an eye on hot spots Thursday, fire officials said.

The Spring Lake Park will stay closed for the rest of Thursday so crews can easily move in and out of the area, the Santa Rosa Fire Department said in a Nixle update at 12:28 p.m.

Several fire agencies in the county and Cal Fire responded to the fire, which was kept to a 3-acre burn area and did prompt any evacuations, officials said.
