Berkeley gas leak prompts partial San Pablo Avenue closure

The 2700 block of San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley is closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic while the Berkeley Fire Department investigates a gas line leak on Thursday afternoon, police said. PG&E has been notified of the leak and police said people traveling through the area should plan alternate routes.

The 2700 block of San Pablo Avenue is between Pardee and Carleton streets.
