BART officials said South Hayward station has reopened following some power line issues that PG&E corrected Monday evening.
As of 6:14 p.m. the BART system was recovering and delays may linger for a short time.
Trains are again running through the South Hayward station following efforts by PG&E and Hayward firefighters, who were fighting a fire nearby.
Because of the blaze firefighters had asked BART to turn off power to its electric rail, which powers the trains.
