San Leandro police search for missing 40-year-old at-risk woman

Police in San Leandro are asking for your help in locating an at-risk adult who was reported missing after leaving her residence Friday afternoon.

Lisa Hoover was last seen around 1 p.m. on Juana Avenue, and was reported missing a few hours later.

San Leandro Police Department Lisa Hoover, 40, was last seen leaving her San Leandro, Calif. home the afternoon of Friday, September 13, 2019. Hoover is said to be a dependent adult with special needs and considered at risk.

Police say they’ve exhausted all of their usual methods for finding the woman, who is considered a dependent adult with special needs, and they’re asking for public assistance in the investigation. Hoover is described as a 40-year-old woman weighing roughly 145 pounds at 5 feet 8 inches tall with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen in a white shirt with black pants and sandals.
