Downed power line prompts Redwood Highway closure

Both directions of Redwood Highway in Greenbrae are closed between Wornum Drive and the northbound U.S. Highway 101 off-ramp at Lucky Drive due to a non-injury solo vehicle crash into a power pole, the Central Marin Police Authority is advising.

Live wires are down in the area and there is no estimated reopening time as PG&E works to secure the power lines.

Residents are encouraged to find alternative routes.
