Walnut Creek police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two women who stole a purse from an elderly woman in a Safeway grocery store.
Police on Wednesday morning posted the video of the theft. The video shows the elderly woman looking at produce when one of the suspects approaches her and takes the purse.
Walnut Creek police didn’t respond to attempts to clarify the date of the crime or which Safeway store in the city the crime occurred.
