SF officials lift gas leak advisory

Officials have lifted a gas leak advisory issued Tuesday morning in the area near 39th Avenue and Geary Boulevard.

The San Francisco Fire Department issued the advisory in a Twitter post at 10:28 a.m., saying a gas main was broken but no further information was provided.

The issue was resolved as of 10:51 a.m. though traffic delays are expected until approximately 3 p.m. due to mitigation.

Crews are also responding to a fire at 1017-1019 Market Street and have evacuated the seven-story building. Market Street is closed between 5th and 8th streets.
