Congressman to hold immigration town hall in Concord

A town hall meeting on immigration will be held by Congressman Mark DeSaulnier, D-Concord, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Meadow Homes Elementary School, 1371 Detroit Ave. in Concord.

“[W]ork he is doing in Congress to protect immigrant rights and ensure detainees are treated with the dignity they deserve.”

Betty Rose Livingston/SFBay Rep. Mark DeSaulnier said, “I don’t know how anyone, irrespective of their political ideology, could see what I saw and not be appalled at what is happening in our names. We need to fix this. This is a human tragedy.” Richmond, Calif., Monday, Aug. 5, 2019. (Betty Rose Livingston/SFBay)
