Planned repair work to cause six-hour Sausalito power outage

PG&E will be interrupting electrical service for six hours in Sausalito later this week to perform equipment repairs, police said. The power outage will start 11 p.m. Thursday and end 5 a.m. Friday.

The repairs entail shutting off power during the replacement of two power poles. Approximately 300 PG&E customers will be affected, utility spokeswoman Deanna Contreras said.

The outage will affect areas on or near Caledonia, Turney, Johnson, Pine and Bonita streets, Humboldt and Girard avenues, Glen and Rose courts and Locust Road.

Police are reminding drivers that when traffic lights are not functioning, an intersection should be treated as a four-way stop.
