Loma Mar crash causes traffic delays, cellphone outage

A crash in Loma Mar in San Mateo County on Tuesday morning is affecting traffic and also local cellphone service because it damaged a utility connection, county emergency officials said.

The county issued an alert at about 9:45 a.m. about the crash in the 8000 block of Pescadero Creek Road.

There is one-way traffic control in the area while emergency officials and utility crews respond to the crash, and there is no estimate for when the road will fully reopen, according to the county.
