Driver nearly strikes officers, pedestrians near Lake Merritt

Oakland police are looking for a suspect who allegedly nearly struck officers and pedestrians near Lake Merritt on Sunday evening, according to police.

A man was pulled over in a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro with racing stripes on the hood and roof, along with temporary plates in the 2150 block of Lakeshore Avenue around 6:15 p.m., police said.
