Police investigate possible homicide near Guadalupe River Trail


A woman was found dead in a possible homicide Thursday morning near the Guadalupe River Trail in San Jose, police reported. Officers were on foot patrol at 10:24 a.m. in the area near West Julian Street at North Autumn Street when they found the woman. Homicide investigators responded to the scene and an investigation found she may have died of suspicious causes.

The Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine her cause of death and identify her once family members are notified.
