One night, three separate Oakland shootings

Three men were wounded in three separate shootings in different parts of Oakland on Wednesday night but all of them are in stable condition, police said.

Occupants of one moving car fired at occupants of another moving car in a shooting in the 1400 block of Harrison Street in downtown Oakland at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

No one in the targeted car was hit but an errant bullet struck and injured a man riding a motorized scooter on Harrison Street, police said.

At the same time, at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, a man was shot while driving a car in the 2400 block of Coolidge Avenue in East Oakland by someone who fired from another car, according to police.

Four hours later, at about 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, a man was shot while he sat in a parked car in the 5900 block of MacArthur Boulevard, police said.
