U.S. Rep. Mark DeSaulnier, D-Concord, is hosting a town hall meeting on the Mueller report Tuesday evening in Walnut Creek. DeSaulnier will be discussing foreign interference in the 2016 election cycle as revealed as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, which President Donald Trump has repeatedly referred to as a witch hunt.

The event “Protecting Our Democracy & the Mueller Report” begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Shadelands Art Center at 111 Wiget Lane in Walnut Creek. DeSaulnier has held more than 80 town hall meetings since he was elected to Congress in 2014. Anyone planning to attend is asked to RSVP at (925) 933-2660.
