Caltrans workers find dead man, crashed motorcycle

Caltrans workers who were cutting high grass along Lakeville Highway in Petaluma on Tuesday morning found the dead body of a male near a crashed motorcycle, a police lieutenant said.

The body was found near a drainage culvert around 8:40 a.m. near the South McDowell Extension, Petaluma police Lt. Brian Miller said. It appears the male was the victim of a solo vehicle crash, but police have not received any information about when it happened, Miller said.
