One of the men accused of fatally shooting 19-year-old Anthony Singh outside an apartment complex in Antioch last year has been arrested on a murder charges, according to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.
Singh was shot at 3:28 a.m. on Aug. 19 in the 2200 block of San Jose Drive and died at the scene, according to police. Another victim who was also 19 was transported to a hospital and survived.
Terrence Webb, 40, was identified as a suspect and prosecutors filed charges against him on March 6. He was then arrested March 18. Webb and co-defendant Gale Young, 37, have both been charged with murder in the shooting, as well as attempted murder and street terrorism. A third co-defendant, 37-year-old Victoria Adrienne Collins, has also been charged with being an accessory after the fact and destroying evidence, as well as being a felon in possession of ammunition. Prosecutors say she has prior convictions for burglary, grand theft and identity theft in San Mateo County.
Webb also has a criminal history, having been charged with murder after a fatal shooting in the End Up nightclub in San Francisco on June 5, 2016, but those charges were ultimately dropped.
Webb, Young and Collins are all scheduled to appear in court April 8. Webb is being held without bail.
