SF firefighters respond to second two-alarm house fire Monday


Firefighters are responding to a two-alarm house fire in San Francisco, Monday’s second two-alarm blaze in the city, according to fire officials.

The fire is being reported in the 1200 block of Athens Street in San Francisco’s Crocker Amazon neighborhood, fire officials said around 4:45 p.m. on Twitter. The fire is reportedly located in the home’s garage. Drivers and pedestrians are being asked to avoid the area. Earlier today, firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire in the 400 block of Melrose Avenue. Firefighters were able to contain that blaze and no one was injured.
