Security guard shot at Oakland marijuana grow


A security guard at a marijuana grow in Oakland suffered injuries considered life-threatening after being shot approximately 10 times on Saturday night, according to police.

The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of 23rd Avenue, police said. The guard, only identified as a man, was transported to a hospital with major injuries. There are no suspects in custody. No further information is immediately available.
