Police search for suspect in South SF shooting that wounded a teenager

Police said they are searching for a suspect who shot and wounded a teenager Monday morning in South San Francisco.

The shooting occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 10 block of Magnolia Avenue while the 17-year-old victim was standing near a parked vehicle, police said.

The suspect and another person ran off after the shooting. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for injuries that were not life threatening.
